Erick Gutierrez-Monje is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Missouri. He received his bachelor's in chemical engineering with a minor in chemistry from California State University, Long Beach, where he studied CO2 reduction and aqueous batteries. His current research focuses on applying ion-selective membranes via oxidative molecular layer deposition for nitrate and phosphate detection using pulse-current measurements.
